Our Services

  • Who we are

Hudson River Housing is the Hudson Valley’s leading housing and community development agency. For more than four decades, we have stood at the intersection of compassion and action, working to ensure that every individual and family has access to a safe, stable place to call home. We more than just a housing provider; we are a movement of staff, partners, and community members united by the belief that dignity and opportunity begin with housing.

  • what we do

We provide a full continuum of housing and support services that meet people where they are and help them move forward:

Shelter & Crisis Response: Immediate, safe refuge for those experiencing homelessness.

Affordable Housing Development: Building and preserving homes that are attainable for low- and moderate-income families.

Youth Services: Transitional housing, outreach, and empowerment programs for young people at risk.

Financial Counseling: Tools, resources, and guidance to build financial stability and homeownership opportunities.

Neighborhood Revitalization: Strengthening communities block by block through investment, partnerships, and resident engagement.

  • why it matters

Housing is the foundation of dignity, stability, and thriving communities. Without it, everything else becomes harder: health suffers, education falters, jobs are harder to keep, families struggle to stay together.

By ensuring access to housing and the supports that go with it, Hudson River Housing strengthens not just individuals, but the Hudson Valley as a whole. Every home we create, every youth we empower, every neighborhood we revitalize is an investment in a stronger, more equitable future for all.
