PUF Studios is a community printmaking studio located in the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory, a mixed-use project of Hudson River Housing. PUF Studios aims to provide artists and arts/community organizations with an affordable space available to provide access to printmaking equipment and studio space for artistic and educational purposes.

PUF Studios has 5 private artists studios available for rent and a larger open community printmaking studio. Community Printmaking Studio has etching, screenprinting and relief printing facilities along with a larger central work area.

PUF Studios is located on the second floor of the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory and is fully accessible via an elevator. The Community Print Studio is an open space within PUF Studios.

The Poughkeepsie Open Kitchen is a culinary business incubator and professionally equipped shared-use commercial kitchen rented to entrepreneurs in the Hudson Valley region who are looking for space to prepare their culinary creations and grow their food businesses.

Open Kitchen member spaces are available on a first come first serve basis, with priority given to those who are local/will hire locally in Dutchess County. Kitchen rates are affordable and hours are flexible.

The location at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory is one of two Open Kitchen locations, with our second location at the River Valley Arts Center in Wappingers.

As part of Hudson River Housing’s commitment to providing affordable housing throughout the Hudson Valley, the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory contains 16 affordable rental units.

Looking for affordable rental housing? We offer a wide variety of affordable rental housing, ranging from rooming houses to full homes for rent. Our housing also includes specialized housing for veterans, young adults, those transitioning from homelessness, seniors, and those living with mental illness or addiction.

The Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory offers two spaces for community events and activities, as well as commercial opportunities for participants with the Open Kitchen and PUF Studios.

The Coffee House on the first floor is connected to the Poughkeepsie Open Kitchen. This space can seat up to ## people. This is a versatile space, able to accommodate everything from large meetings to classes to pop-up restaurants and catering.

We also offer a smaller conference space on the third floor of the building. This area can accommodate up to 15 people and is ideal for smaller meetings and classes.

Please note: We are no longer taking rentals for private events and parties in the Coffee House.

Murphy Park is the outdoor space between the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory and Main Street. Formerly the walking entrance to the factory, the space has been transformed from an abandoned alley to a vibrant community space. The park is open for community events and pop-ups throughout the year.

The Community Printmaking Studio offers a shared workspace for artists, educators, and creators of all types. The studio is available for both personal use as well as for hosting classes with space for up to 15 students.

While the equipment in the studio is best suited for printmaking, the space can be utilized by artists and creators of all mediums!

Membership to the studio is $30 per year, with hourly rates for personal and educational usage.

A select number of private studios are available for rent on a monthly basis for artists looking for a dedicated space to work. Each studio is located within this beautifully renovated historic building and vibrant community artists hub! Rent includes access to the larger printmaking studio. PUF Studios is the home of HRH Made, a workforce training social enterprise operated by Hudson River Housing, in partnership with residents overcoming barriers to housing insecurity.

HRH Made produces custom screenprinted and sublimated products including apparel, mugs, and upcycled slate products.
