    Description & Purpose

    Pete's Place is a centralized Youth Services and Outreach Center designed to assist youth and young adults under the age of 25 who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability. Functioning as a gateway into Dutchess County's network of youth services, Pete's Place staff work with youth in crisis to connect them to programs and services that best meet their individual needs.

    Pete’s Place is a safe haven for vulnerable and homeless youth, providing housing resource and benefit navigation services alongside personalized care management by on-site Care Managers with the primary goal of attaining or sustaining appropriate permanent housing. In order to meet the immediate needs of clients, Pete's Place is equipped with essential amenities like a shower, personal hygiene station, kitchen facilities, and a small food pantry, as well as computers, charging stations, and a lounge area.
